Who Will Win The Premier League 2022/23 – Analysis and Predictions

If you love the Premier League, then you know that this has been one of the craziest seasons in the history of the competition. It was a whirlwind, in the best sense of the word. It has also been an enigma for people seeking free football predictions and trying to guess which team will be

Manchester City has been considered a team that basically owns the competition, and when you look at the results in the previous ten years, it is easy to see why people may think that.

But, out of nowhere, came Arsenal, and they had people questioning the impossible. Can someone else win this competition?

They played their young hearts out and made people fall in love with their game. They spent most of the season on top when everyone expected them to break down and lose every single week. But they prevailed. Well, until recently.

The Month Of April

Arsenal managed to stay on top of the league until April. But then, things changed. They started losing points left and right. Three draws with teams that spent most of the season in the bottom half of the table and a horrid loss against Manchester City at the very end of the month.

The master Jedi Guardiola showed his Padawan, Arteta, that he was not yet ready to beat his teacher. Many experts believe this was the moment Manchester City stole the Premier League title from Arsenal. But there are many matches to be played until the end of the season.

Today, we are going to discuss the chances both teams have of winning the title.

Can Manchester City Finish The Job?

They were trailing behind Arsenal for almost the entire season. Now, they are in front with a game in hand. They have a one-point advantage, but that game in hand is what makes that one point look like four. When you consider the current Manchester City form, it is easy to assume they will most likely win that one game in hand.

They won the last ten games in a row. The question here is, can they continue the streak and win the title? They definitely have confidence in something like that.

The matches they need to play until the end of the season are:

Chelsea (Home)
Brighton (Away)
Brentford (Away)

Considering the form of Chelsea, those matches should not be that big of a problem for Pep Guardiola and his men. But there is also the second leg against Real Madrid at home. It is safe to say that Pep dreams of winning the Champions League title with City, but we believe he is not ready to sacrifice the Premier League crown to get it.

The good thing for Manchester City is that they have the luxury of losing or drawing one match in the league. Arsenal lost that luxury in April.

What Can Arsenal Do?

It seems that Arsenal supporters are looking back to the month of March and wondering what the hell happened in April. But that ship has sailed (pun intended), and they need to find another solution to win the league. Their situation is relatively simple, to be fair. They need to win all the matches left and hope for two gifts from Manchester City.

Well, one of the teams in their schedule can put an end to their title dreams. We can all agree that is an unlikely scenario. But no one can forbid them to hope.

Here is their schedule:

Nottingham Forrest (Away)
Wolves (Home)

On paper, this seems like an easier schedule than the one Manchester City has, but the situation is not that simple when you consider that Arsenal cannot afford to lose points.

With their win against Newcastle, they managed to keep their dreams alive, and the title is likely to be decided on the last day of the season. For people who love football and have no skin in the game, this is the best possible scenario.

But, for the fans of each club, it will be a nail-biter season until the very end.

If we have to give our opinion, we must say that we give Pep Guardiola and his men an advantage. At the very least, they are more experienced in winning titles.
